Lan Yin Hua Bu hand-cut geometric diamond pattern and all natural dyed indigo 100% cotton.   Diamond pattern indigo shirt, with single breast pocket. This long sleeved shirt is tailored for a more contemporary fit, while the penny collar takes inspiration from Mao era jackets.   Hand-made, plant-dyed natural calico cotton with floral pattern created through an ancient method that uses hand cut patterns with a resist soy bean and lime paste technique. Because of these natural processes, and ethical practices this product is a sustainable fashion item.   Available in sizes small, medium and large, this shirt looks fantastic styled on it's own. Alternatively you can dress it over a classic white t-shirt or under a casual summer jacket.
Care
Because the deep rich blue of this artisanal hand dyed indigo cotton ages with wear, the shirt becomes characteristically personal with usage.  After the first three washes any excess indigo dye should wash out, therefore minimising the possibility of rubbing off.

Sex by Alex McKenzie

Sex is a collection of individual prints following in the tradition of textiles as a medium to tell stories

about human relationships, life’s fortunes and rituals through symbolism. ‘Birds and Bees’

explore themes relating to encounters between lovers and the interplay between

the positive and negative that makes connections with those we love both joyful and challenging.

The Birds and Bees combines imagery of swallows and honey bees artfully skirting around central

spines of brambles and apple branches bearing fruit. These visual references are emblematic of the

art of relationships and the careful negotiation required to maintain the equilibrium of both the

physical and emotional side of shared lives.
