Vintage patchwork Mao jacket with antique indigo katazome and interior detailing.<\/p>\n

Each one is unique.\u00a0 These Zhang Shang Zhen Jackets were collected by Indigo John in China from the countryside around Shanghai where some of these Mao era jackets can still be found.\u00a0 They are hand patched using antique katazome patterned cloths.<\/p>\n

Please note that as the jackets are vintage 1960’s & 70’s and were worn in the countryside, they have signs of wear and tear.\u00a0 Each jacket has been cleaned but some stains remain.<\/p>\n

The patches are made from antique katazome cloths. We have cushions made with the same fabric in our Heritage Home collection. Like this cushion<\/a>.<\/p>\n
